New Website Launches for Sierra to Sage
We are pleased to launch the new Sierra to Sage website. It is important for us to keep you “up to date” with the most current information regarding the Sierra to Sage Shop Hop. This year is the 11th Annual shop hop and we couldn’t be more excited. Many of the previous shops are returning for this year’s shop hop.
- Fabric Chicks Creative Oasis – Mindin, NV
- The Quilt House – Gardnerville, NV
- Blue Petunia Quilts – Portola, CA
- Homestead Fabrics – Portola, CA
- A Stitch of Country – Fernley, NV
- The UnCommon Thread – Fallon, NV
- Workman Farms – Fallon, NV
We would also like to welcome two new shops to the shop hop. This will be their first time participating.
- Country Pine Quilt Shop – Susanville, CA
- Topaz Quilting & Embroidery – Reno, NV
The shop hop will be taking place in September 2018. The shops will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 6th, 7th and 8th. Make sure you hit all the shops so you can collect all your block patterns. This year’s theme is: America the Beautiful Mystery. Each shop will be designing a quilted banner (similar to a table runner) that uses a stanza of the patriotic song, “America The Beautiful,” as its inspiration. These custom patterns will be given to each hopper as a heart-felt thank you for participating in the hop. The mystery is going to be where you will find which pattern. As an example, The UnCommon Thread is designing her banner using “purple mountain majesties” for inspiration and will sell kits (which includes the pattern) for that banner; but, the pattern will be given out as a free thank you at a different shop, maybe Blue Petunia Quilts in Portola. So you see why it’s important to visit all the shops.
We will have so much more to share in the following weeks and months leading up to the shop hop. Please keep checking back here to see what will be coming up.
